This specialized table was an awesome project for my customer, Howard, in Ft. Myers, FL.
Howard is working on researching and compiling his family's history, then hand-binding that history into books which will
be passed on the rest of his "kin". Howard needed a table that was large enough to comfortably work on, tall
enough to stand at and work, had space underneath for a large flat-tile to hold supplies, and was solid enough to handle the
200 lb. antique binding press he used. With Large 6" square legs, extra stretchers for support around 3 sides,
and 5/4" thick Heart-Pine top salvaged from a 1910's Produce Market, this table fit the bill. How appropriate for
Howard's books to be made on a table with as much history as the words in their pages.
