This great table measures 6 1/2' long and 44" wide. The big chunky 5"x5" beams
that make up the base are "lap-jointed". This table had to be "ferried" in two parts to its new
home on Cayo Costa Island, FL, via boat, since there is no bridge connecting the island to the mainland. It should fit
in perfectly with the island lifestyle, since the wood this table was made from started its life as joists salvaged from the
Granada Apartments built in the 1920's just off Siesta Key in Sarasota, FL (click on the picture at the bottom of the page
for more history!)
